Taxes have been part of my world for so long that at this point, Tax Lady is basically one of my personalities.

And believe it or not, I actually enjoy it. Give me the forms, the numbers, the “I have no idea what this letter means” and the occasional “Shalisha, I think I messed up.” Somehow, this became one of those things I genuinely love doing.

Maybe it’s because taxes can feel intimidating when you don’t understand them, and I love being the person who makes it finally make sense.

So yes… every year when tax season rolls around, the Tax Lady in me clocks ALL the way in.
